Apollo International Group donates medical drugs to Malawi hospitals

On November 2013, Apollo International Group donated a consignment of medicines and medical consumables to the Government of Malawi through the Malawi High Commission in New Delhi. The Consignment was received by H.E. Dr. Perks Ligoya Malawi High Commissioner to India. Speaking when he received the donation the Malawi envoy thanked Mr. Onkar S. Kanwar, Chairman of Apollo Group and the entire management for timely donation of medical drugs to Malawi hospitals. He said the donation would go along way towards alleviating the shortage of medical drugs in the hospitals. The consignment costing approximately USD70, 000, comprised medical drugs and consummables including: surgical gloves, examination gloves, anti diabetic drugs, anti hypertensive drugs and many other drugs.
