If you are a new User, then create an account on the Official Malawi e-Visa Portal. You need to login to the e-Visa Portal to complete the online e-Visa application form. It requires you to give the travelers information as per the data page of your passport, travel details, photograph, and other related documents.

After completing the visa application form, you need to do online payment for the visa fee and convenience fee by your credit card or debit card Visa/Master. You will receive a confirmation email notification for your visa application after you do payment. The Department of Immigration and Citizenship Services will review your application and do the required visa processing.

After approval for the Visa Application you have to download the e-Visa and print it out. You need to show the e-Visa on arrival at the Port of Entry.

You can appeal (resubmit) if your application is rejected. You will have to apply another application

Note: You should not travel to Malawi before a eVisa has been obtained.
